Carol Mae Navratil, age 93, of Silver Lake passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at The Cokato Manor.
She was born on January 12, 1931 in Rich Valley Township, McLeod County the daughter of Theodore & Mary (Plihal) Pesina.
On September 6, 1958, Carol Mae Pesina and Gerald James Navratil were joined in holy marriage at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Silver Lake. God blessed their marriage with three sons.
She was a faithful and active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake.
Carol formerly worked for eighteen years at 3M in Hutchinson. She also did seasonal work at Green Giant in Glencoe.
Carol belonged to American Legion Post # 141’s Auxiliary.
Survived by three sons: Dan (Lori) Navratil of Shakopee, Bernie (Terry) Navratil of Burnsville and David (Sara) Navratil of Rogers; five grandchildren: Curtis (Nicole) Navratil, Justin (Kari) Navratil, Emma Navratil, Luke Navratil and Sylvia Navratil; five great grandsons: Ernest, Zebediah, Daniel, Frederick, Justin Navratil Jr. “J.J.”; and many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Harvey and Daniel Pesina and by a sister Marion Matousek.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Carol Navratil will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. Father Matthew Wiering will be the Celebrant.
Inurnment will be at Holy Family Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 16th at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.
