Donald Richard Radoush, age 85, of Silver Lake passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. He was born on May 1, 1938 in Hale Township, McLeod County the son of Joseph & Anna (Schiller) Radoush. Donald graduated from Silver Lake High School. He honorably served his Country in the United States Army. He engaged in farming for many years in a partnership with his brothers Roger and Harold. Donald enjoyed going to the casinos and taking car rides to see how the farmers’ crops were coming. He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Silver Lake and belonged to American Legion Post #141. Donald was a very generous man, kind to his neighbors and friends. He always brought them sausage at Christmas time. Donald had a good sense of humor and was a jokester. He was well thought of as a brother, uncle, neighbor and friend. Donald helped a lot of people out. Survived by his brother: Wallace Radoush of Gaylord; his sister: Rosemary Radoush of Shakopee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Alice Radoush, Joseph Radoush Jr., Joan Grant, Robert Radoush, Marlyce Lenzen, Harold Radoush and Roger Radoush. Funeral services for Donald Radoush will be held on Thursday, January 18th, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Presbyterian Church in Silver Lake. Pastor Laura Messer will officiate. Military rites will follow services. A visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to services on Thursday, January 18th. Casket Bearers will be Chloe Rossmann, Chris Rossmann, Thea Rossmann, Aaron Williams, Jeremy Radoush and Nathan Radoush. The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake is serving the family.
