Rodney Cameron Swenson, age 66, of Silver Lake, MN passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on December 23, 1950 the son of Richard and Olive (Hanson) Swenson.
Rodney was a meat cutter for over 30 years at several SuperValu stores. He was a champion trap shooter and enjoyed collecting guns. He loved to race go carts. He enjoyed photography and was an inventor with a mechanical mind.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Diane King.
Rodney is survived by his significant other Karmen Blackhawk; son Reed (Christina) Swenson of Carver, MN, daughter Nichol (Gary) Daley Jr. of Darwin, MN; grandchildren Richard “Cameron” Swenson, Elizabeth Swenson, Christian Swenson, Gary Daley III and Diamond Daley; siblings Tim (Carol) Swenson of Fergus Falls, Russ (Maxine) Swenson of Underwood, Faith Reusch of Fergus Falls, Shelley (Gary) Schott of Minneapolis, and Jeff (Cindy) Swenson of Verndale; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Rodney Swenson will be held on Saturday, January 7th at 3 PM at Maresh Funeral Home.
A time of gathering will begin at 1:00 P.M.
