Steven Charles Weber, age 54, of Silver Lake passed away on Sunday, December 17th, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on April 29, 1963 in Glencoe the son of Charles D. & Rosemary (Bayerl) Weber.
Steven C. Weber and Janelle M. Mallak were joined in holy marriage on November 10, 1990 at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Silver Lake. God blessed their marriage with four children.
Steve was employed at Millerbernd’s for the past nine years. He had a long time lawn care business. Steve was always willing to help others with his time and talents.
He was a faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake.
Survived by his loving wife of twenty-seven years: Janelle M. Weber; loving children: Spenser, Shantel and Savanna; his mother: Rosemary Weber; siblings: Kathleen (Derek) LaZarre, Todd (Tina) Weber, Michael (Candi) Weber, Brenda (Pat) Fogarty, Gene (Debbie) Weber, Carrie Weber,Bradley Weber (Ryan) and Kelly (Steve) Sale; father-in-law: Joe Mallak of Winsted, sisters-in-law: Julene (Jay) Borka of Winsted and Janette (Tom) Bayerl of Silver Lake; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by a son Severin on February 24, 2003, his father Charles Weber on April 28, 2016 and by his mother-in-law Constance Mallak on June 22, 2009.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Steven Weber will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. Father Paul Schumacher will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19th from 4-8 PM at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake. Rosary at 5:00 PM and parish prayers at 7:30 PM. Further visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be sons and his brothers: Spenser Weber and Severin Weber, Todd Weber, Mike Weber, Gene Weber and Brad Weber.
Casket Bearers will be John Bayerl, Carey Kieser, John Entinger, Pat Fogarty, Sam Anderson and Jason Kalis.
The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake is serving the family.
