Clarence J. Juncewski

Clarence Joseph Juncewski, age 85, of Hutchinson and formerly of Silver Lake died Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Harmony River.

He was born on November 30, 1937 in Hale Township, McLeod County the son of Stephen and Irene (Bugnon) Juncewski.

On July 22, 1958, Clarence J. Juncewski and Anne L. Johnson were joined in holy marriage at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Silver Lake.   God blessed their marriage with three daughters.

Clarence belonged to Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake and to The Knights of Columbus Mother Cabrini Council # 1841.

He formerly engaged in dairy farming in Hale Township, McLeod County for many years.  Farming was his passion!

Clarence always had a job off the farm.   He worked for Juncewski Trucking, Morris Excavating, Green Giant and for Roger Mallak.

Clarence was also very proud of his gardens.

He was a former Hale Township Supervisor for thirty- three years.   Clarence enjoyed helping others. 

Survived by his loving wife of sixty-five years: Anne of Hutchinson; daughters: Susan (Doug) Murphy of Maple Grove, Gail (Roch) Ruhland of Richmond and Patty (Myron) Polzin of Cokato; five grandchildren: Kate Murphy, Ashley Ruhland (Cole Hartson), Sydney Ruhland, Erin (Ben) Haapala and Neil (Heather Hannaford) Polzin; two step grandchildren: Michael (Barbara) Ruhland and Jillian (Nolan) Strom; two step great grandchildren: Vivienne and Vera Ruhland; other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, a sister Lucinda Pilarski, brothers Felix and Raymond Juncewski, a sister Agnes Wawrzyniak, nephews Lenny Pilarski and Kenny Juncewski and by a niece Kathy Ramthun.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Clarence Juncewski will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake.  

Inurnment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.

K.C. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 A.M. and visitation continues until time of Mass AT THE CHURCH.
