Clemens Clarence Kosek, age 88, of Glencoe and formerly of Silver Lake passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Glencoe Regional Health Services.

He was born on December 29, 1934 in Silver Lake the son of Frank and Kathryn (Nowak) Kosek.

On October 10, 1958, Clemens C. Kosek and Verona Zabel were joined in holy marriage at the rectory of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Silver Lake.   God blessed their marriage with five children.

Clemens was formerly employed at Lester’s Incorporated as a mason.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, lawn work, tinkering, woodworking and camping. Clemens also liked watching football.

Survived by his wife of sixty-four years: Verona; children: Michael Kosek, Patricia (Chris) Jacques, Julie Teubert and Carla (Brent) Feltmann; daughter-in-law: Karen Kosek (Joel Klaustermeier); ten grandchildren: Katie Ryks (Justin), Kim Kosek (Joseph Goettl), Jamie Kosek (Jon Richer), Carter Kosek, Travis Jacques, Jennifer Jacques, Amanda Plieseis (Troy), Beau Teubert (Hannah Wisch), Austin Feltmann (Lexy Wills) and Abby Feltmann; and five great grandchildren: Ian, Emma, Raegan, Addie and Carson; siblings: Edward Kosek, Roger Kosek and Darlene (Milo) Babatz; a sister-in-law: Liz Kosek; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by a son David Kosek, his parents, two sisters Arlene Kosek and Delores Miller, a brother Leonard Kosek, a sister-in-law Mary Jane Kosek and by a brother-in-law Melvin Miller.

Memorial service for Clemens Kosek will be held on Friday, January 13th, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake.   Father John Hayes will officiate.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 13th from 9:00-10:00 A.M. at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake.
