David Lee Britcher Jr.

David “Dave” Lee Britcher Jr., age 53, of rural Glencoe passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 at his residence.

He was born on September 7, 1962 in Corpus Christi, Texas the son of David and Barbara “Bobbi” (Ross) Britcher Sr.

Dave attended Bible College at Fountain Gate Bible College in Plano, Texas.

On May 18, 1991, David L. Britcher Jr. and Erica Ann Svoboda were joined in holy marriage at The Assembly of God Church in Litchfield.  God blessed their marriage with three children.

He was formerly employed in commercial dry wall for many years.

Dave was an avid sports fan, liked Nascar, the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys.  He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and movies.  Dave was a history buff and enjoyed garage sales.

Survived by his loving wife: Erica; three children: Christopher M. Britcher age 19, Emily M. Britcher age 13 and Cameron M. Britcher age 10; father: David Britcher Sr. of Leander, Texas; his mother: Barbara “Bobbi” Blanch of Dallas, Texas; a sister: Barbi Blanch of Sulphur Springs, Texas; a brother: Daniel C. (Nicole) Blanch of Rockwall, Texas; a step sister: Ginger (Matt) Grimm of Leander, Texas; Father-in-law and mother-in-law: Franklin & Joan Svoboda of Hutchinson; a sister-in-law: Angela Rush of Prosperity, South Carolina; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his step mother: Joyce Britcher.

A Memorial service for David Lee Britcher Jr. will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Light House Assembly of God Church in Plato.  Pastor Randy Adams will officiate with assistance from Pastor Paul Friberg and Pastor Robert Holmbeck.

Special Music will be by Shannon & Eric Wegscheid and Chad & Mitzi Bahr.

A time of gathering will be held on Saturday, May 14^th from 1:30 till time of services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Britcher children.
