Dolores A. Schultz, age 87, of rural Silver Lake passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
She was born on May 21, 1928 in rural Silver Lake the daughter of Peter & Martha (Pawlak) Pawlicki.
On May 31, 1949, Dolores A. Pawlicki and Theophil P. Schultz were joined in holy marriage at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Silver Lake. God blessed their marriage with five children.
Dolores and Theophil engaged in dairy farming in Winsted Township, McLeod County for many years.
She enjoyed farming, flowers, gardening, cooking, embroidering and collecting recipes.
She was a faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake and belonged to C.C.W. and to the Rosary Society.
Survived by her children: Doreen (Bruce) Nowak of Dassel, DeAnn (Alan) Mickolichek, Paul (Shari) Schultz and Donna (Brad) Lokensgard; a daughter in law: Donna Schultz all of Silver Lake; eighteen grandchildren and twenty nine great grandchildren; a brother: Henry “Hank” Pawlicki of Silver Lake; a brother-in-law: Robert Schurmann of New Germany; a sister-in-law: Mary Jaskowiak of Silver Lake; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Theophil P. Schultz on November 1, 2005, a son Gordon Schultz in 1995, her parents Peter & Martha Pawlicki and by a sister Veronica Schurmann.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores A. Schultz will be held on Saturday, January 2nd, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. Father Paul Schumacher will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 1, 2016 from 4-8 P.M. at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake. A combined Rosary will be recited at 5:00 P.M. and Parish Prayers at 7:30 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Saturday morning, January 2nd from 9:00-10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
Casket Bearers will be Jeff Nowak, Josh Schultz, Chris & Bryan Mickolichek, Aaron Schultz, Kyle Schultz, Justin Sitz and Jared Lokensgard.
