Gideon Daniel Krienke, age 38, of Hutchinson passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.
Gideon was born on January 14,1985 in Hutchinson. He was the son of Daniel & Sharon (Ake) Krienke.
Gideon was employed as an assistant manager in the Wall Coverings and Grocery departments at Menards in Hutchinson.
Gideon absolutely loved spending time with his daughter, Hannah! They always had fun spending time together going to the pool, attending the community events, going out for walks to get food or go shopping, and even just spending time playing with toys together at home. He also enjoyed watching sports on T.V. such as basketball, football, and of course cheering on the Florida Gators. Gideon cared so much for his family, he would always share stories about growing up and spending time with loved ones as a way to keep them close.
Gideon is survived by his daughter: Hannah Michelle Bergs age 10; sisters: Celeste (George McDonell) Krienke and Christine Kirby; nieces and a nephew: Elizabeth McDonell, Madison Kirby and Bruno Kirby; mother of his daughter: Ashley Bergs; other relatives and friends.
Gideon was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Sharon Krienke; his younger brother Gabriel Krienke; and other family members.
A Memorial Service for Gideon Krienke will be held on Thursday, December 28th, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake. “How Great Thou Art” and “Amazing Grace” will be sung as congregational hymns. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28th one hour prior to the memorial service.
