Harold R. Radoush, age 81 of Silver Lake, MN passed away at Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson, MN on Dec 29, 2014.  Funeral service on Sat, Jan 3, 2015 at 11 AM at Faith Presbyterian Church, Silver Lake.  Visitation on hour prior to service at the church.

Harold was born on October 17, 1933 to Joseph & Anna (Schiller) Radoush, Sr. in Hale Township, McLeod County, MN.  He was baptized & confirmed at Faith Presbyterian Church, Silver Lake, MN.  He attended District 69 Elementary School & Hutchinson High School.  He served his country in the US Army; he was discharged in 1959 having served a 2 ½ year term in Germany.  He & his brothers, Donald & Roger purchased the home farm from their parents & proceeded to build the farm from 40 acres to 400 acres before retiring.  Harold was a hunter, trapper, avid reader, a journalist, collector of Native American Art & a collector of coins.  He enjoyed watching football, was a wonderful storyteller & a historian for wartime periods.  Harold, Donald & Roger attended the re-enactment of Jesse James in Northfield.  He also enjoyed going to the casinos.  Harold was a generous & giving man.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. & Anna, sisters & brothers, Alice Radoush, Robert Radoush Sr., Joan Grant.

Survived by his step-son, John Mross; brothers & sisters, Joseph Radoush Jr., Roger Radoush, Donald Radoush, Marlyce (Elroy) Lenzen, Wallace Radoush & Rosemary Radoush; special friend, Karen Schwartz; 14 nieces & nephews & numerous Army comrades.
