JoAnn Elizabeth Ardolf

JoAnn Elizabeth Ardolf, age 87, of rural Lester Prairie passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Glenfields Living with Care in Glencoe.

She was born on January 17, 1937 in Silver Lake the daughter of Joseph & Angela (Millerbernd) Rozeske.

On May 11, 1957, JoAnn E. Rozeske and Lawrence G. Ardolf were joined in holy marriage at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Silver Lake.    God blessed their marriage with three children.  JoAnn and Larry farmed in Rich Valley Township.  Larry preceded his wife in death on April 28, 2020.

JoAnn was also formerly employed for over thirty years as a part-time bartender at the Silver Lake Liquor Store and at the Silver Lake American Legion.

She raised peacocks and enjoyed pull tabs and casino trips.

JoAnn was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake.

Survived by her children: Jerry (Cindy) Ardolf of Lester Prairie and Bonnie Ardolf (Kevin Schermann) of Silver Lake; grandchildren: Ashley (Josh) Mason and Travis (Nikki) Ardolf; great grandchildren: Emily, Alivia, Indy, Elli and Caleb; a sister: RoseMary (Harry) Stibal of Laughlin, NV; nephews and a niece: Brian (Julie) Stibal, Craig (Tami) Stibal, Bruce (Lora) Rozeske and Barb (Donnie) Carrigan; sister-in-law: Kay (Gary) Nowak; other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her husband, JoAnn was preceded in death by a son Randy, her parents and a brother Alvin (Betty) Rozeske.

A Mass Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for JoAnn Ardolf will be held on Thursday, August 8th, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake.   Father Matthew Wiering will be the Celebrant.

Inurnment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8th AT THE CHURCH beginning at 9:00 A.M.
