Josephine Frances Juncewski

Josephine Juncewski, age 90, of Hutchinson and formerly of Silver Lake and Howard Lake passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 Prairie Senior Cottages.

She was born on November 13, 1933 in Silver Lake the daughter of John M. & Frances (Pokornowski) Kaczmarek.

On January 17, 1951, Josephine Kaczmarek and Raymond H. Juncewski were united in holy marriage at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Silver Lake. The two were blessed with three children.

Josephine and Raymond farmed north of Silver Lake.   She later was employed in housekeeping at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Howard Lake.

Josephine belonged to Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake and its C.C.W.

Survived by her children: Roger (Donna) Juncewski and LuAnn (Larry) Williamson all of Howard Lake; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Raymond “Ray” Juncewski on January 16, 2017, her parents, a daughter Kathy Ramthun, grandson Paul Campbell, a brother Chester and by a sister Margaret.

 A Memorial Service for Josephine Juncewski will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake.  Father Matthew Wiering will officiate.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at the funeral home from 4-6 P.M.   A Rosary will be recited at 5:00 P.M.
