Larris "Larry" Bernard Chacka

Chacka, Larris “Larry” Bernard Age 73, of Champlin, MN passed away on February 17, 2020 due to complications with Sepsis.  Larry was born on August 20, 1946 in Glencoe, MN. 

 He attended Silver Lake High School and worked for Red Owl/SuperValu Distribution. He frequented Mystic Lake Casino and enjoyed trips to Las Vegas.  

Larry is preceded in death by his father Bernard “Bernie” Chacka, and stepfather Glen Carlson.  

He is survived by his mother Evelyn Chacka; children Tracy Chacka and Terence Chacka; brother Lyle Chacka and sister-in-law Cheryl Chacka; and nephews Brian Chacka (Monica) and David Chacka (Kristen, Charlie, and Ricky).  

Very special thanks the doctors and nurses at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale and Maple Grove.  In honor of Larry's wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no funeral service.  

To celebrate his life and share memories, a visitation will be held at Maresh Funeral Home, 105 Main St, Silver Lake, MN on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.  

In lieu of flowers and memorials, please make donations in his name to the American Lung Association.
