Leann Marie Fenske, age 71, of Silver Lake, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Howard Lake Good Samaritan.

She was born on March 5, 1954, in Watertown the daughter of Gordon & Edna (Litzau) Kruschke.

Leann grew up in Lester Prairie with her two sisters and graduated from Lester Prairie High School in 1972. Leann was united in marriage to John C. Fenske on June 30, 1973 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie. They resided in Lester Prairie when they welcomed their only child, Kristen, in 1975.

Leann was formerly employed at Sterner Lighting in Winsted for many years as an office manager. Leann had a creative mind and always had a passion for decorating and doing her own DIY projects. She enjoyed gardening, creating flower arrangements, and loved shopping at antique stores. Leann had a love for music and was very talented at playing the piano.

Leann was blessed with one daughter, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She loved her family and always had a smile on her face when she saw them. She will be the angel that will look over her family whom she has left behind but will always love and cherish.

Leann was preceded in death by her parents Gordon & Edna Kruschke.

Leann is survived by her loving family: daughter Kristen (Dan) Lange of Howard Lake; grandchildren Liz (Jake) Bebeau and Zach (Abby) Fenske of Delano; great grandchildren Sophia Bebeau and Lilah Bebeau; sisters Linda (Boyd) Welch of Hutchinson and Mary (Donald) Schnaser of Lester Prairie; nieces, a nephew, other relatives and friends.

A Private Family Memorial Service for Leann Fenske will be held on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie.   Pastor Joshua Arndt will officiate.

Inurnment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
