Lucille A. Nowak, age 93, of Silver Lake, MN passed away on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 7, 1926 in Winsted Township and was the daughter of Frank and Mary (Fasching) Bayerl.
On October 13th, 1951, Lucille A. Bayerl and Harry J. Nowak Sr. , were joined in holy matrimony at Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Winsted, MN. God blessed their marriage with six children.
Lucille was long time faithful member of St. Adalbert’s/Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a of member the CCW, the Rosary Society, & the church quilting group.
She spent the majority of her life farming with her husband. She enjoyed many different hobbies, which included quilting, crocheting, embroidering, gardening and baking. She really enjoyed baking with her children and grandchildren, and passed down many favorite recipes.
Survived by her loving children: Rose Mossberg Nowak (Bill) , Harry Nowak Jr., Steve Nowak, Frank Nowak, Carol Nowak-Miller (Ron) and Angela Nowak-Goloja (Gary). Her six grandchildren: Seth Miller (Courtney), Jenna Mossberg, Hallie Miller, Landin Goloja, Claire Goloja & Josey Konerza-Nowak and two great-grandchildren: Silas & Ensley Miller, sister-in-law, Margie Eischens and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Nowak Sr., her parents, Frank & Mary Bayerl, her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Boylish (Bill) & Frances (Yurek) Nowak, and all her brothers and sisters and in-laws.
A private Graveside Service for Lucille Nowak will be held at St. Adalbert’s cemetery in Silver Lake, MN.
A mass celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
