Mary J. Podrasky, age 95, of Richardson, Texas, passed away December 11, 2015. Mary was born September 3, 1920, in Toledo, Ohio, to James and Clara (LeBlanc) Carlo. She married Milan Charles Podrasky on August 30, 1947, in Silver Lake, Minnesota. Mary and Milan were happily married for fifty years and raised three children in Silver Lake. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, playing bingo, and she loved her dogs. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and mother-in-law.
She is survived by her son, Charles Podrasky and wife, Roxana of Richardson, Texas; daughters, Kathryn Podrasky of Tyler, Texas and Sharon Schwieters and husband, Richard of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota; grandchildren, Faith, Adam, and Crysta; step-grandchildren, Allan and Jillian; great-grandson, Scott; and brother-in-law, Elmer White.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Pauline Holtcamp.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake, MN. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
