Milton James Navratil, age 85, of Silver Lake passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson.

He was born on June 28, 1937 in Silver Lake the son of Frank & Amelia “Emma” (Svoboda) Navratil.

Milton honorably served his Country in The United States Army.   He was a proud Veteran!

On December 1, 1962, Milton Navratil and Caroline Rannow were joined in holy marriage in Hutchinson.   God blessed their marriage with a daughter.

He was formerly employed for thirty-three years at 3M in Hutchinson.

Milton played the concertina and was fond of antiques.

Survived by his loving wife of sixty years: Caroline M. Navratil; daughter: Kari (Kevin) Becker of Glencoe; two grandchildren: Kraig (Dena) Becker of Norwood/Young America and Katy Crenshaw of Fort Lauderdale, FL; two great grandchildren; Rhiannon and Keenan Becker; a brother: Alvin (Bernice) Navratil of Minnetonka; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, a brother Donald (Christel) Navratil.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Milton Navratil will be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake.   Father Matthew Wiering will be the Celebrant.

Inurnment with military rites Holy Family Cemetery in Silver Lake.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake.
