Nicholas "Nick" Edward Penaz

Nicholas “Nick” Edward Penaz, age 35, of Hutchinson died Sunday, March 10, 2024 from injuries he received in a motor vehicle accident. He was born on May 30, 1988 in Glencoe the son of Chris Penaz and Lynn Havelka. Nick was employed as a paver operator in Road construction for MPM. Nick was soft hearted person and he loved his children! Nick had a wacky charm that would make anyone laugh! He also had a good sense of humor. He enjoyed 4 wheeling and dirt bikes and started racing at a young age where he was a thrill to watch, he also loved a peaceful snowmobile ride on the river . Nick worked hard and played hard! Nick is survived by his loving daughters: Leah and Hannah and by a baby boy Hayden on the way; his special friend and soulmate: Cheyenne; his parents: Chris (Amy) Penaz and Lynn (Brian) Jensen; a brother Mitchell; grandparents: Judy Havelka, Mavis Noga and Dale (Marie) Penaz; many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his grandfather’s Ed Havelka and Wayne Noga. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Nicholas “Nick” Penaz will be held on Friday, March 15th, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. Father John Hayes will be the Celebrant. A visitation will be held AT THE CHURCH on Friday, March 15th from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass.
