Rita Magdalene Klenicky, age 90, of Glencoe, MN passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Glencoe Regional Health Services.
She was born on September 27, 1924 in Silver Lake, the oldest child of Alexander and Emily Hornicek Klenicky.
Rita helped out with dairy farming and she enjoyed embroidering, cooking, gardening, and playing bingo.
Rita was a faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. She also belonged to the C.C.W. and enjoyed praying the rosary.
Rita is survived by her sister, Martha Klenicky of Silver Lake; nephew, Patrick Loebertmann of Silver Lake; and niece, Helen Loebertmann of Buffalo.
Preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Emily Klenicky; brothers, Henry Klenicky, Joseph Klenicky, Stanley “Buddy” Klenicky; and sister, Marion (Leo) Loebertmann.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rita Klenicky will be held on Monday, September 28 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. Father Anthony Stubeda will be the Celebrant.
Interment at Holy Family Cemetery in Silver Lake.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27 from 2-6 PM at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake. Parish Prayers will be held at 5:00 PM followed by a C.C.W. Rosary.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be Sharon Ardolf, Shirley Fiecke and Kim Paulson.
Casket Bearers will be Gerald Harris, Glen Mallak, Richard Paulson, Albert Teubert and Mike Popelka.
