Ruth Louise Goranowski, age 97, of Silver Lake passed away on Saturday, June 18th, 2016 at Cedar Crest Estates in Silver Lake.
She was born on June 6, 1919 in Hutchinson the daughter of Emil & Elsie (Radtke) Falling.
On June 11, 1946, Ruth L. Falling and Raymond V. Goranowski were joined in holy marriage at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Silver Lake. God blessed their marriage with four children.
Ruth enjoyed gardening, cleaning, taking care of her grandchildren and enjoying at treat at the end of a day.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake.
Survived by children: Patricia Buytaert and friend Gary O’Fallon and Galen (Deborah) Goranowski all of Hutchinson, Bonnie (John) Hlavka of Rosemount and Bruce (Janis) Goranowski of Williamson, New York; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, her parents and siblings Mabel Falling, Margaret Krantz, Clarence and Oscar Falling and by a son-in-law Jim Buytaert.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ruth Goranowski will be held on Tuesday, June 21st at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. Father Paul Schumacher will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning, June 21st from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass at the church.
Casket Bearers will be Nick Buytaert, Kevin Hlavka, Jon Krantz, Gene Falling, Lenny Ardolf and Duane Stritesky.
