Sharon Ann Miska, age 77, of Silver Lake passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025 at her residence.
She was born on June 29, 1948 in Hutchinson the daughter of Phil & Helen (Jagodzinski) Pilarski.
Sharon graduated from Silver Lake High School in 1966.
On July 5, 1969, Sharon A. Pilarski and Dale J. Miska were joined in holy marriage at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Silver Lake. God blessed their marriage with four children.
She was a faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake and belonged to The Rosary Society.
Sharon enjoyed needle point (Crewl), playing the piano, cards and watching game shows. Her love for her children and grandchildren was very evident through the years. She also enjoyed family vacations. Later in life, she was a business manager employed in Edina.
Survived by her loving husband of fifty-six years: Dale J. Miska; children: Scott Miska of Watertown, Andi Miska (Greg Alberts) of Maple Lake, Luke (Kristine) Miska of Minnetrista; a daughter-in-law: Alicia Miska of Rosemount; 11 grandchildren and 1 ½ great grandchildren; a brother: Phil (Marina) Pilarski of Texas; a sister: Mary (Neil) Wegner of Hutchinson; a sister-in-law: Jeanie Pilarski of Delano; a brother-in-law: Roy Miska of Silver Lake; other relatives and many friends.
Preceded in death by a son Carl Miska, her parents and by a brother Glenn Pilarski.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Sharon Miska will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. Father Bob Mraz will be the Celebrant.
Alice Nowak will be the organist for the Mass.
Private inurnment Holy Family Cemetery in Silver Lake.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th from 4-8 P.M. at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake. A Rosary Society Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Parish Prayers at 7:30 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Friday morning, September 5th at the funeral home from 10-11 A.M.
