Trevor Michael Evans

Trevor Michael Evans, age 46 of Hutchinson, Minnesota passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at his residence. He was born on November 19, 1977 in Columbus, Ohio the son of Mike and Mary (Beck) Evans.  Along with his parents, Trevor moved back to Minnesota to be closer to Mary’s parents.  Trevor attended Hutchinson public school and graduated in 1996.  He furthered his education at St. Cloud State University obtaining a degree in Criminal Justice and Communications.

Trevor and Krystal (Geyer) were joined in marriage on October 27, 2011. They were blessed with a son Liam Michael.  They lived their married life together in the same house as Trevor’s mother childhood home “The Hobbit Hole” on Merrill Street in Hutchinson.  Their marriage was filled with many years of silly stories, funny dancing, terrible singing and very happy holidays.

He had many interests in life, was a huge Star Wars fan, loved Soccer and following the Manchester United, collecting baseball cards with Liam, storm chasing and gaming.  Trevor loved nothing more than being at home with his family, gaming on-line with Liam and his buddies.  He was blessed with a large group of friends, many of the friendships were from his childhood days.  There wasn’t anything that Trevor wouldn’t do for his family and friends.  Liam Michael was his pride and joy, the only goal in life for him was to make sure his “little buddy” was happy.  They shared a beautiful bond, truly best friends forever.  Trevor and Liam had just started storm chasing together and liked to “sneak out” while mom was at work. They shared many interests and picked on one another for being nerds.

Survived by his loving wife: Krystal and their son: Liam; sister: Jillian Evans; uncle: John Beck; uncle and aunt: Steve and Diane (Booth) Evans; uncle and aunt: Charles (Chuck) and Christi Beck; grandmother: Madeline Derring; aunt: Kay Johnson; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Norman and Marcia (Cuhel) Geyer; and brother-in-law: Kyle Geyer.

Preceded in death by his parents: Mike and Mary Evans and his grandparents: Howard and Virginia Beck.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota.

A funeral service for Trevor Evans will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota with further visitation one hour prior to services at the church.
